Years Go By............

It has been about 4 years since my last post.  Life has been hard - surgeries, layoffs, the deaths of my beloved husband Rik and my precious Maddie.  It has dawned on me that Sugar has been my saving grace.  I have never known a dog to minister to someone but she has.  She and Rik had a very special connection - she helped him physically with his chronic pain.  She has been my angel in helping me grieve Rik's death.  I think she may be an angel in disguise - well a mischievous angel.

Equal Time for Maddie and Lilly

This morning as I was getting ready to go to work - Lilly ran out with me and jumped in the car.  I think she is feeling a bit neglected and wants her equal time.  I took her for a short walk - just by herself so she would feel special.   When I walked back in the house - Maddie was waiting.................so many dogs - so little time.

So much for not on the furniture - I guess she really isn't on the furniture - but on Rik.  I know the photo is dark - but I believe you get the point........
